Skills & Experience:
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in math or statistics
- Knowledge of actuarial modeling, statistical studies, programming, pricing orfinancial analysis
- Actuarial exams usually required – leading to ASA or FSA designation
- Senior roles require experience in medical cost trend studies
- Previous experience in the managed care industry
- Consulting roles require expertise in a practice area such as Medicaid and Medicare
- Leadership roles require experience
