What I do:

My main function is to make sure that all products received in the warehouse tie to the invoices that we receive in the mail.  When the vendor packet is accurate it’s then entered into a spreadsheet, which after completion is uploaded into Oracle to be paid.  I’m also in direct contact with all the vendors and if any discrepancies should occur with the received amount and the invoice I know the procedure to correct any errors.

How I make a difference:

Making sure that all of the drugs ordered by the inventory department coincide with the invoices received.  I know that these drugs are essential to the members of Prescription Solutions as many of our members are on maintenance drugs and need these drugs to stay healthy.

Why my job is great:

I feel that I’m doing a service for the most important part of company, the members.

The challenges of my job:

I encounter many challenges in the course of a day.  To prioritize my workload for the day is essential and one of the biggest challenges that I face daily, as certain aspects of the job require immediate action and attention.

How I impact my community:

I impact my community by going to work each day and keeping a positive attitude in any circumstance.

What makes this a greater place to work:

I know if I perform my job to the fullest and to the best of my ability our members will be receiving the proper drug and the accurate price that they’re entitled to.

What’s great about me:

I believe that I’m important to my department because I take my job seriously.  I’m accurate, detailed, and reliable and never leave a job unfinished.  I’m totally dedicated to my department and loyal to UnitedHealth Group.

Little known fact about me:

I think that there’s good in everyone you just have to find it!  I’m truly a people person and I enjoy talking, listening, and helping people.
