As a Finance Manager within our Operating Expense Management division, you will be responsible for facilitating SG&A forecasts and analyze trends in membership, medical costs, and other areas of business. You will interface with business leaders and build relationships in support of financial planning and performance measurement including reporting and analysis.
Additional responsibilities for this position include but not limited to:
- Perform monthly close analysis to facilitate understanding of monthly results against the financial plan
- Partner with business leaders to evaluate investment opportunities and cost savings initiatives to maximize resources and create efficiencies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in conjunction with budgeting and forecasting process
- Developing processes and structure to support robust and flexible Activity Based Cost reporting and analyses
- Developing processes and structure to support robust and flexible Fixed/Variable reporting and analysis
- Provide finance support to Underwriting and Pricing process
Qualifications
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant financial analysis or accounting experience
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office product suite, and other technology tools
- Progressive financial work experience
- Ability to work in a matrix environment while positively influencing other functional areas
Preferred:
- MBA or CPA
- Healthcare experience
- Hyperion Essbase and PeopleSoft experience
