The Business Development Coordinator reports only to the General Manager, Canada. This position is an integral part of the team, providing analytical and sales coordination support to the Regional Sales team. This role is vital in supporting the Global Care Delivery Sales activities by ensuring the quality and integrity of customer-presented data and proposal processes. 

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Work as a member of the FrontierMEDEX Team, based in Calgary.
  • Support the Global Care Delivery (Remote Medical Solutions) business in Canada, supporting the development and submission of Customer Requested Information (RFI/Q/P, Marketing info).
  • Document, coordinate and implement various aspects of new business.
  • Handle incoming emails and calls for prospective clients, including basic qualification questions.
  • Assist with pricing calculations and presentation preparation.
  • Handle incoming queries, both internal and external, related to Sales and Marketing activities.
  • Update lead and opportunity tracking in SalesForce.
  • Provide a weekly update to the Calgary team of sales activity in conjunction with Sales Director.
  • Support business development activities in Canada.

  • Possess drive, motivation, and acute attention to detail in ensuring all Sales opportunities are captured and explored.
  • Strong analytical mind with the ability, experience, and commercial acumen to negotiate and close client negotiations and large contracts.
  • Able to travel internationally at short notice.


Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree.
  • 2+ years of Sales experience.
  • Availability to travel 25% of the time, internationally and with short notice.
  • Based in either Edmonton or Calgary, Canada.
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Experience in either the Oil and Gas Industry or the Healthcare Industry.
  • Solution-based Selling experience.
  • Familiarity with SalesForce.
  • Experience with Proposal Writing and Submission.
  • Experience Planning Corporate Events.
