Jobs in this function may work closely with sales on renewals and upselling, but incumbents do not have specific sales goal accountability or primary responsibility to close sales. Account management jobs focused primarily on relationship and service management belong in this family; jobs with significant sales responsibilities or sales – related incentives (including ‘OTH’ plans) belong in a sales band.
This position is full – time (40 hours / week) Monday – Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST. If candidates are in PST OR AZT, hours would support coverage until 5:00 PM AZT. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
We offer 4 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST, Monday – Friday. Training will be provided and hours to be adjusted based on location of team member and trainer. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Manages ongoing contract relationships and service delivery to clients for one or more accounts
- Acts as outward – facing, dedicated resource for assigned accounts, typically with direct client contact (not call center) and large or complex accounts
- Builds relationships with employer / group clients (not individual members) and serves as the primary point of contact for overall and day – to – day service delivery with the operational enterprise
- Represents client internally and coordinates with other functions to implement client systems, complete projects, and address ongoing service needs

Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in account management, client benefits and service contact
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Intermediate level of proficiency with using Microsoft Excel (ability to use spreadsheets, use pivot tables, and use formulas as well as the ability to do project planning and analyze comparative data)
- Intermediate level of proficiency with using Microsoft PowerPoint (ability to use and create presentations for reporting purposes)
- Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST from Monday – Friday including the flexibility to work occasional overtime based on business need
- If candidates are in PST OR AZT, ability to support coverage until 5:00 PM AZT
Preferred Qualifications:
- RxClaim experience
- 2+ years of experience with tracking systems such as Advocate Central and ServiceNow
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
Soft Skills:
- Issue resolution experience
- Ability to analyze data to create recommendations based on the analysis
- Proficient with time management

The salary range for this role is $28.61 to $56.06 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
