Interns: 

What You Need To Know

  • We provide an 8-12 week internship during the summer that may continue into the fall.
  • Some positions involve full-time hours, others are 25-30 hours per week.
  • You will be challenged as you work on teams who are performing at a fast pace and high level of intensity.
  • We are a very diversified organization and provide support to a large matrix of product and service lines.

What We Are Looking For

  • You should be enrolled in a full time degree program covering the disciplines of Sales, Inside Sales, Marketing, Business, Communications, Advertising or Public Relations.
  • Strong team and collaborative skills are essential.
  • We seek people who are adept at writing and persuasive communications.
  • You should be able to work effectively with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Prior experience involving customer relations or customer satisfaction work can be helpful for these positions.

Full Time: 

What You Need To Know

  • You will be provided a structured curriculum and on- the- job sessions that will expose you to broad skills, tools and functional departments within the Sales & Distribution Organization.
  • Approximately 25% of your time will be dedicated to structured learning.
  • You’ll multi-task outbound calls and special campaign initiatives for assigned region.
  • You’ll collaborate with experienced professionals, mentors, and sales leaders.

What We Are Looking For

  • Driven individuals will manage sales/enrollments through effective handling of all telephone inquiries from lead prospects & existing members interested in the UnitedHealthcare Medicare Solutions, with the intent of enrolling consumers in optimal plan(s)/product(s).
  • You’ll manage outbound calls and special campaign initiatives for assigned region.
  • You’ll conduct needs analysis across diverse consumer population.
