TDP at a Glance

Each year, hundreds of participants work in our Technology Development Program. As a part of their experience, they can contribute to a multitude of activities such as, hackathons, TDP Shark Tank, mentor circles and specialized curriculum.


Ready to take your skills from the classroom to the big stage?  Here’s your opportunity. You’ll participate on teams taking on challenging problems that affect the health care system today and will shape the future of health care tomorrow. You’ll come away from the Technology Development Program with lifelong skills, a network of colleagues and friends, and a head start to your career.

What You Need To Know

  • Participants in the Internship Program will work in any of a number of functional areas including:
    • Software Development/Software Engineering
    • Data Science/Data Analytics
    • DevOps/Infrastructure  
    • IT Security
    • Business Analysis/Systems Analysis
    • Project Management/Product Management
  • This 10-11 week program begins in May/June and ends in August.
  • You need to be an undergraduate student enrolled in an information technology related field, math, science, engineering, business or health policy/management.
  • Our locations include: Eden Prairie and Plymouth, MN; Boston, MA; Basking Ridge, NJ; Raleigh, NC; Schaumburg, IL.

New Graduates

What You Need To Know

  • This is a 1 year rotational program involving work in one or more of the following areas: Applications Development, Business or Systems Analysis, Project Analysis, Infrastructure, Data Management, and Data Security.
  • The program may involve some travel (no more than 20%).
  • Applicants need to have graduated with a BS or MS degree in an information technology related field, math, science, engineering, business or health policy/management. Other degrees are considered if you have related experience.
  • Our locations include: Eden Prairie, MN, Minnetonka, MN, Boston, MA, Raleigh, NC, Basking Ridge, NJ, Schaumburg, IL, Phoenix, AZ, and Franklin, TN.
