Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop customer applications to be cloud optimized particularly AWS
  • Work as both an infrastructure and application development specialist
  • Implement DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration and automated deployment
  • Build and maintain AWS resources using modern Infrastructure-as-Code tooling
  • Collaborate with the core engineering team to lead the organization’s platform security efforts
  • Build and maintain AWS resources using modern Infrastructure-as-Code tooling (Terraform, Ansible) 
  • Build and maintain pipelines and automation through GitOps (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Atlantis, etc.) 
  • Create and own platform level services on top of Kubernetes (FluentD, Datadog, Go) 
  • Build monitoring and alerting templates for various cloud metrics (Splunk, Datadog, Cloudwatch) 
  • Understanding of data integration, migration, and synchronization processes
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of proven experience managing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus)
  • Experience with AWS services such as ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, QuickSight, CloudFront, SQS, ElastiCache, and/or Lambda
  • Experience in container orchestration using Kubernetes for automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications
  • Experience in collaborating with DevOps teams for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker for creating, deploying, and managing containers
  • Knowledge of container networking, storage, and security concepts
  • Familiarity with container registries, container monitoring, and logging tools
  • Solid SQL skills and expertise in query optimization
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL extensions, replication, and high availability configurations
  • Scripting and automation skills (Selenium, Java, Groovy)
  • Proven excellent communication and collaboration skills
