Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and maintain Java application within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Develop, test, implement and maintain application software working with established processes
  • Communicate effectively with other engineers and QA
  • Establish, refine and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed
  • Identify production and non-production application issues
  • Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of Java developed projects
  • Provide technical support and consultation for Java application and infrastructure questions Serve as a mentor to less experienced Developers
  • Design and develop the framework of the system and be able to explain choices made. Also write and review design document explaining overall architecture, framework and high-level design of the application
  • Create, understand and validate Design and estimated effort for given module/task, and be able to justify it
  • Be able to envision the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and be able to define technologies, patterns and frameworks to materialize it
  • Be able to define in-scope, out-of-scope and taken assumptions while creating effort estimates
  • Be able to identify and integrate well over all integration points in context of a project as well as other applications in the environment
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or Information Technology
  • 3+ years of experience working as a React.js Developer
  • Experience with user interface design
  • Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software
  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages
  • Working knowledge of executing the projects in the Agile Methodologies
  • Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux
  • Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest
  • General understanding of IT security concepts as they relate to production environment
  • Good understanding of SDLC process
  • Good understanding of Devops and tools like Jenkins
  • Proven excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Proven good project management skills
  • Proven ability to address issues & understand solutions in code walk through and design reviews
