Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy Java-based applications using Azure Function Apps, Microservices architecture, Kafka, and Spring Boot.
• Write efficient, testable, and reusable code.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team to define, design, and ship new features.
• Analyze system logs, monitor performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement in application stability and performance, specifically related to Java Spring Boot and microservices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
• Work on integration of various azure services to support Microservices architecture and real-time data streaming with Kafka.
• Participate in incident management processes, including root cause analysis, incident response, and post-mortem reviews for Java Spring Boot and microservice-related incidents.
• Identify opportunities for automation and implement tools and scripts to streamline production support tasks related to Java Spring Boot and microservices.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, helping them develop technical skills and troubleshoot complex issues related to Java Spring Boot and microservices effectively

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 12+ years of relevant IT experience (Agile, Production Support)
• Proven hands-on software development experience with Java (>=Jdk11)
• Proven experience working in a production support role
