As a Clinical Pharmacist you will perform live telephonic outreach to UHC Medicare members to improve health quality outcomes (i.e. medication adherence, appropriate drug utilization).  This is your opportunity to join a pharmacy team with a focus on clinical and business collaboration. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shift between the hours of 8am – 5pm. This is a hybrid-remote role. You will be required to work onsite 1 day per month and work remotely (work from home) all other days of the month. 

Location: 1600 McConnor Parkway, Schaumburg, IL 60173

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform telephonic outreach to improve health quality outcomes related to Medicare STAR quality measures (medication adherence, other pharmacy measures, pharmacy benefits, and member experience) 
• Optimize pharmacy therapy through additional telephonic engagement with providers and pharmacies
• Oversee pharmacy projects from inception to completion
• Provide responses to drug information requests
• Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
• Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems
• Coach, provide feedback, and guide others

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Pharmacy
• Current and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Illinois
• 3+ years of experience working as a licensed pharmacist
• 3+ years of patient consultation experience while working as a licensed pharmacist
• Beginner level of proficiency navigating MS Office and a Windows-based environment 
• Must reside within commutable distance to the Schaumburg, IL office location

Preferred Qualifications: 

• English/Spanish Fluency
• Pharm D
• Retail and/or mail order pharmacy experience
