We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Product Owner to help lead our Adobe marketing technology implementation efforts. As the Marketing AJO Product Owner for E&I, you will lead enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing efforts through the strategic use of the Adobe Journey Optimizer technology, and related Adobe products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, identify issues, and implement innovative solutions that enhance our marketing capabilities and deliver measurable results.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Defining and implementing tools and processes that advance our digital and traditional marketing capabilities and strategy; interfacing with other departments and external vendors with the purpose of finding the best solution to meet objectives while using Adobe Journey Optimizer and other Adobe Experience Platform technology
- Helping to define and understand the data ecosystem through audience creation. Understand and implement that data through Handlebar JS to dynamically drive content with that data in email, SMS, digital advertising, social and direct mail
- Work with both internal partners (Engineering, Marketing, Product, Legal / Regulatory, Data & Analytics, etc.) and with external vendors (Adobe, Litmus) to build and execute effective and innovative member email campaigns
- Job Role Alignment:
- 80% Assist with projects that advance our campaign implementation program
- 20% Review and execution assistance of complex member campaigns
- Willingness to be flexible and work with ambiguity while testing, consulting and problem solving
- Ability to develop tactical plans that utilize data to develop compelling targeted marketing messages
- Manage relationships and requirements work with internal teams and external vendors to ensure Marketing Operations can successfully meet critical delivery timelines for campaigns using Adobe or other technology
- Able to develop and maintain positive relationships with cross – functional team members, establish trust and credibility in a matrix organization, as well as demonstrate effective interpersonal, influence, collaboration and listening skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision; results driven
- Demonstrates decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions and identifying priorities

Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of working in product orientation in the fields of marketing, data or technology
- 7+ years of consumer marketing experience across online and offline channels
- 4+ years of email HTML and responsive design coding experience
- 4+ years of Handlebar JS, SQL, AmpScript and data manipulation in email
- 2+ years of experience with the Adobe Experience Platform such as Adobe Real-Time CDP, Adobe Journey Optimizer or Adobe Experience Platform
- Demonstrated experience working on broad-scale consumer engagement technology solutions at a complex, matrixed organization
- Demonstrated experience in creating a product strategy that considers internal and external market forces, financial performance-driven KPIs, and technical and operational deliverability
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Journey Optimizer and Customer Journey Analytics
- 2+ years of healthcare
- Experience with developing highly targeted, dynamically driven emails to be delivered across an audience or segment based on preferences and attributes
- Experience with deploying multi-channel communications through custom actions
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar email platforms), including experience using data filters and program automation
- Experience with Adobe Assets, Workfront
- Experience with email and web analytics / reporting tools such as Adobe Analytics

The salary range for this role is $106,800 to $194,200 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with al minimum wage laws as applicable.
