Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain CIMS (Case Investigation Management System) integration specification and supporting documentation
- Act as lead as SQL DBA
- Develop and enhance current SQL store procedures
- Ensure strict data quality and performing needs assessments
- Performs all activities in a manner consistent with Application, Development & Reporting core principles and regulatory reporting requirements
- Analyzes current business practices, processes and procedures as well as identifying future business opportunities for leveraging data storage (Data warehouse) and retrieval system capabilities
- Build complex SQL queries and identify potential risks of FWA
- Ensure compliance of applicable federal/state regulations or contractual obligations
- Comply with goals, policies, procedures and strategic plans as delegated by SIU leadership
- Automating manual processes
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with no active backlog
- 5+ years of Azure DataBase
- Experience with code quality, performance and load testing
- Solid SQL programming with the ability to perform effective and efficient querying involving multiple tables and subqueries Advanced SQL query writing experience or experience reviewing code
- Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL 2017)
- Proven good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) / System Development Life Cycle
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proven fluency and comfort with modern data engineering tools like Azure, Skills that would be useful in supporting current SQL Server platform to an Azure Cloud
- Proven skill in analytics and reporting front with tools Tableau
- Proven advance skills in writing complex SQL queries and data manipulation
- Proven solid problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
- Proven solid systems development and project lifecycle execution skills
- Proven ability to develop goals and objectives, track progress and adapt to changing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, to include written and verbal forms of communication
- Ability to travel
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of equivalent work experience with healthcare related employment
- 2+ years of AI knowledge
- Experience in Cloud-based deployment platforms like Azure, Openshift, Kubernetes, AWS etc.
- Specialized knowledge/training in healthcare FWA investigations
- Knowledge of modern DevOps practices related to software build, test and deploy processes
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Proven solid interpersonal, communication and decision-making skills
