We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Data Science to lead our data science team and drive innovative solutions in machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI. As a key player in our organization, you will leverage cutting-edge technologies to solve complex business challenges and unlock actionable insights from data. This role requires a solid technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving impactful results.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of data scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
  
• Oversee the design and development of predictive models and machine learning algorithms
  
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and define their data needs
  
• Translate business problems into data-driven solutions, presenting complex results in a clear and actionable manner
  
• Monitor model performance and continuously improve the accuracy of predictions and insights
  
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest data science trends and technologies, implementing new methodologies as appropriate
  
• Promote data literacy throughout the organization, educating staff on how to use data to drive decision-making
  
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations
• Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team
  • Define clear goals and objectives for the team, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities
• Technical Expertise and Project Delivery:
  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI models to solve complex business problems
  • Leverage Python and other programming languages to build scalable and efficient solutions
  • Work with large datasets and utilize big data technologies to perform analysis and modeling
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables by implementing best practices in data science and model evaluation
• Strategic Problem Solving:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation
  • Translate business requirements into data science projects and actionable solutions
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of models in production to meet business KPIs
• Stakeholder Communication:
  • Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Present insights, findings, and recommendations in a clear and impactful manner
  • Build solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success
• Innovation and Research:
  • Stay up to date on the latest advancements in machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI
  • Identify opportunities to integrate new technologies and methodologies into the team’s workflow
  • Drive innovation by exploring novel approaches to solving business challenges

Required Qualifications:

• Primary Skills:
  • Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI
  • Solid programming skills in Python and knowledge of relevant libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.)
• Secondary Skills:
  • Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar
  • Knowledge of MLOps and Cloud Platforms (Azure, GCP)
  • Proficiency in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data visualization
• Leadership Skills:
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing data science projects
  • Proven ability to mentor and guide junior team members to achieve their full potential

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree
• Experience working in an agile environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for AI/ML deployment
• Proven solid analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
