Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, robust, highly distributed big data solutions capable of processing massive data volumes using Spark on cloud
- Optimize database performance and manage and monitor data extraction, storage, and transformation
- Optimize/tune big data systems/Jobs
- Works collaboratively with the Product Management, Data Management and other Architects to deliver for the cloud data platform, Data as a service
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, leading retrospectives that drive change.
- Be the torchbearer of Scrum ceremonies, driving clarity and focus in sprints
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Graduate degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimizing big data systems
- Solid expertise is designing and implementing scalable, robust, highly distributed big data solutions capable of processing massive data volumes using Java Microservices / SPARK on cloud.
- Skills: Java, Spring Boot /REST APIs, Big Data, Spark, Linux, Kubernetes, Kafka, Oracle, No SQL Database(Mongo DB) | AI Persona: AI User| SPANS AND LAYERS: 9
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms, especially in relation to big data, such as AWS or Azure.
- Optimize database performance and manage and monitor data extraction, storage, and transformation.
- Works collaboratively with the Product Management, Data Management and other Architects to deliver for the cloud data platform, Data as a service
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, leading retrospectives that drive change.
- Be the torchbearer of Scrum ceremonies, driving clarity and focus in sprints.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and architectural vision.
- Solid communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
