As a member of the Payer integrated marketing team, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the integrated marketing strategy. You will be part of a dynamic marketing team that supports growth targets through messaging and content marketing to the health plan audience. This position is a key contributor for solution messaging and marketing. Additionally, the ideal candidate must have demonstrated the ability to execute multiple projects and excel in a fast-paced, result-oriented work environment.  We are looking for a highly motived, rollup up your sleeves, self-starter with a passion for communicating in new and disruptive ways.  You should thrive on helping to produce creative solutions and assisting in measuring results.

This position follows a hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week.

 

Primary Responsibilities:
*    Execution of integrated awareness and lead generation programs within the Payer market that advance category leadership and support business and marketing objectives (e.g., revenue goals, membership goals, conversion metrics, campaign budgets) 
*    Deploy marketing strategies that differentiate Optum in the marketplace and position us as market leaders (e.g., unique capabilities, networks, branding) 
*    Develop and implement marketing campaign tactics
*    Provide thought leadership to drive development of innovative, industry-leading marketing strategies/programs/initiatives 
*    Influence new marketing strategies and initiatives in order to drive behavior change and meet business goals 
*    Leverage use of appropriate marketing distribution channels when developing marketing strategies (e.g., social media)

Required Qualifications:
*    3+ years of healthcare marketing experience 
*    Ability to work in Eden Prairie, MN, office 4 days weekly

 

Preferred Qualifications:
*    Demonstrated ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity; self-starter
*    Demonstrated exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and effectively establish priorities
*    Proven ability to work on cross functional teams

Soft Skills:
*    Experience with end-to-end marketing campaign execution (concepting, budgeting, execution, lead generation, attribution, results)
*    Experience in cross-team collaboration
*    Experience in fast-paced, complex project management, and an ability to juggle shifting timelines and priorities

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
