Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automation scripts, APIs and monitoring workflows to enhance efficiency in security product engineering
- Collaborate with application owners and security engineering teams to ensure continuous compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements
- Build and maintain security integrations and processes that enforce standardized security controls across applications and infrastructure
- Implement automated workflows for vulnerability management and compliance reporting
- Act as SME for secure automation, providing mentorship and technical guidance to team engineers
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in information security engineering, automation or DevSecOps
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python, Node.js, JavaScript
- Solid experience with APIs, RESTful integrations, and automation frameworks
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating security into DevOps workflows
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience with development life cycle
- 5+ years development experience with JavaScript and Nodejs technologies in a professional environment
- Experience with Git, Team Foundation Server or similar source control programs
- Solid knowledge of Visual Studio and VB.NET, SQL Server and relational database modeling concepts
- Solid knowledge of SQL Management Studio, Team Foundation Server or similar source control programs
- Ability to perform assigned software development tasks using established standards and procedures with minimal supervision
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet scheduled task requirements within assigned deadlines
