Position Description:

Design, build, and maintain robust data solutions that enable scalable analytics and reporting across enterprise systems. Responsibilities include developing modular, secure, and high-performance data pipelines, transforming raw data into structured formats, and ensuring data integrity and governance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical implementations. Support cloud-based data platforms and contribute to the architecture of data ecosystems. Troubleshoot and optimize data workflows, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with data quality standards. Provide technical leadership in data engineering practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data sources
  • Develop and optimize data workflows using tools such as Apache Kafka, GitHub, GitHub actions, SQL, Spark, and Python
  • Architect and manage cloud-based data platforms including Azure and Snowflake
  • Implement data quality frameworks and monitoring systems to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Collaborate with analytics, product, and engineering teams to deliver data solutions aligned with business goals
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes, schemas, and transformations
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve data-related issues in production environments
  • Support data modeling efforts for analytics and reporting workloads
  • Contribute to performance tuning and optimization of data processing systems

  • Understands and applies data security best practices, including encryption, access control, and compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, or FedRAMP

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of experience integrating data workflows into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps to support automated deployment and version control
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata)
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms Azure
  • Experience with data quality and governance practices
  • Demonstrated experience implementing data governance frameworks, including metadata management, data lineage, and compliance with data privacy regulations such as HIPAA
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools
  • Solid understanding of data modeling and schema design
  • Advanced skills in SQL
  • Intermediate skills Python, and ETL tools

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, ADF, GitHub, Azure Synapse
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
  • Exposure to big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop)
  • Background in healthcare, government operations, or regulated industries
  • Familiarity with graph databases and advanced analytics tools

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
