As a key member of the Ireland Rx Data Analytics team, you will collaborate with and support business customers to utilize data-driven solutions. Your role will involve leading detection and investigatory analysis to identify opportunities and maximize value. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand and validate decision making processes and drive continuous improvements through developing enhanced insights abilities. You will also explore opportunities for the growth and expansion of our capabilities to support a broader customer base.
You will be technically accomplished with a quantitative mindset, a strong aptitude for complex problem-solving, and a keen eye for process improvement. Your curiosity will drive you to seek innovative ways to analyze data and challenge existing practices. Coach and mentor more junior members of the team. This role will also coordinate with and collaborate with peer teams within the wider Data Analytics organization, driving and contributing to continuous customer success improvement initiatives

Primary Responsibilities:

•    Demonstrate strong analytical skills by understanding complex problems, breaking them down into manageable components, and applying analytical techniques to find effective solutions.
•    Actively consult with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure that analytic approaches incorporate appropriate business content. Anticipate stakeholder needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them.
•    Create annotated DataBricks code and technical requirements documentation that describe analytics methodologies and data product designs. .
•    Work with project management teams to review and contribute to documentation and support governance processes as required
•    Conduct statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and insights, including opportunities for outlier detection.
•    Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present findings clearly and effectively.
•    Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing rigorous quality control measures.
•    Efficiently deliver on ad-hoc analysis requests from a wide range of stakeholders.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a discipline with a strong analytical focus (e.g., analytics, mathematics, statistics, engineering)
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL, Python, or R
  • Expertise with data visualization tools such as PowerBI and Tableau
  • Expertise in Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factor
  • Proven experience in analyzing and interpreting large volumes of data from disparate sources, with the ability to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the analyses

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess familiarity with Machine Learning, including a foundational understanding of both supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
  • Experience working in health informatics or healthcare industry
  • Experience operating in a shared services environment

Soft Skills:

  • Quantitative mindset and ability to understand complex processes
  • Ability to own solution delivery with strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Works effectively in cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals
  • Applies a detail-oriented approach to ensure data integrity and flawless execution
  • Coaching and mentoring experience
