This position is responsible for assisting with the execution of all internal audit and risk management consulting activity within designated specialty areas for the company. Responsible for supporting the performance of the financial, business process and information systems audits and special projects to assess the existence, effectiveness and efficiency of business controls, financial information, and compliance with laws and regulations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- With guidance from audit management or audit lead, execute internal audits including: audit planning, detailing control procedures, and the related testing and reporting in accordance with professional and departmental standards – including financial (Sarbanes-Oxley testing) and operational projects
- Prepare clear, accurate, and complete workpapers in accordance with department quality standards; meet project timelines and deliverable due dates
- As necessary, perform follow-up on assigned audit report action plans to ensure that the business partners have completed agreed upon action
- Participate on special projects undertaken by the department and/or the Company
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, accounting or related discipline
- 2+ years of relevant business experience including internal audit, internal controls over financial reporting audits or public accounting experience; 4+ years overall
- 2+ years of experience with internal controls over financial reporting audits (e.g., SOX, MAR, India Companies Act)
- Must understand auditing concepts and principles, and how to apply them
Soft Skills/Abilities:
- Solid interpersonal skills while working effectively with a team
- Solid oral and written communication skills
- Desire to make a positive impact with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities
Additional Education/Experience Preferences:
- Professional Certification
- Pursue audit, assurance or risk related certification.
Experience in health insurance systems is desirable - Experience working in a complex IT/IS environment is desirable
- Experience on Business Intelligence tools – Tableau, Power BI
