Primary Responsibilities:
- Apply engineering principles to the systematic design, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of software for large-scale blue-chip projects spanning eligibility, benefit, provider, and claim domains
- Cover all primary development activities across technology functions to ensure the delivery of high-quality code for applications, products, and services
- Understand customer needs and develop product roadmaps that align with those needs
- Engage in analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, and documentation to support software development and maintenance
- Research and develop new tools, techniques, and strategies to enhance software quality and performance, leveraging cutting-edge technologies in cloud and AI to solve complex business problems
- Automate common tasks and build common utilities to drive organizational efficiency
- Maintain high standards for quality in every output, ensuring reliability and robustness in software deliverables
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and methodologies to drive innovation within the organization
- Foster a passion for technology and solutions, and influence thought leadership on future capabilities and opportunities to apply technology in new and innovative ways
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and delivery of software solutions

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Proven experience in applying engineering principles to the design, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of software
- Extensive experience in software development activities, including analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, and documentation
- Experience in automating common tasks and building common utilities to improve organizational efficiency
- Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and develop strategic product roadmaps
- Solid expertise in working on large-scale blue-chip projects, particularly within eligibility, benefit, provider, and claim domains
- Proficiency in leveraging cutting-edge technologies in cloud and AI to address complex business problems
- Proven skilled in researching and developing new tools, techniques, and strategies to enhance software quality and performance
- Proven commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and reliability in software deliverables
- Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate and implement new technologies and methodologies
- Proven excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and delivery of software solutions
- Proven passion for technology and innovation, with a demonstrated ability to influence thought leadership on future capabilities and opportunities in technology
