Primary Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership:
    • Lead design, development, and deployment of Python-based applications, workflows, and data pipelines
    • Architect and modernize legacy ETL systems into cloud-native, scalable solutions
    • Define and enforce engineering best practices: coding standards, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and security
    • Guide system re architecture efforts to remove redundancy, reduce technical debt, and improve operational efficiency
    • Drive containerization and orchestration strategies using Docker and AKS
  • Solution Delivery:
    • Own the end-to-end delivery of technical components across sprints and releases
    • Develop scalable batch processing and high-throughput data pipelines
    • Collaborate with DevOps to optimize CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless deployments
    • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Python services and SQL Server workloads
    • Lead root cause analysis for production incidents and drive permanent fixes
  • Team Management:
    • Mentor and guide a development team, supporting continuous skill and career growth
    • Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and DevOps to align on requirements and delivery timelines
    • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
    • Participate in hiring and onboarding 
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Solid proficiency in Python for Data processing, Workflow orchestration, ETL and integration components and API and Batch development
  • Deep understanding of ETL concepts including Data ingestion, transformation, validation, Large-scale batch processing, Error handling, recovery, and optimization

     

  • Solid experience with SQL Schema design, Performance tuning and indexing ,Query optimization and execution plans and Migration strategies from legacy SQL workloads
  • Knowledge of Azure architecture patterns
  • compute: AKS
  • Storage: Blob
  • Security: Key Vault, RBAC, Managed Identity
  • Hands-on experience deploying/maintaining services on Azure Kubernetes Service or any K8s and containerization
  • Experience building and optimizing pipelines using Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions / Jenkins
  • Knowledge in Modernization & Architecture:
    • Improve scalability and performance
    • Remove redundancy and complexity
    • Adopt cloud native patterns and microservices
    • Enhance operational efficiency

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Azure certification
  • Experience with FACETS (Claims, Provider, Membership modules)
  • Healthcare domain exposure (HIPAA, EDI 837/835)
  • Knowledge of Talend will be added advantage
