Software Engineering Lead – Cypress and Java Script

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, development and implement automated tests in an ATDD (Acceptance Test Driven Development) setting
• Write and execute automated tests using Cypress, Karate, Cucumber, JavaScript, Typescript, Java
• Data pipeline validation in Databricks using pyspark
• Constantly evaluate and enhance the test automation strategy and approach
• Mentor and direct other testers in automation and software engineering principles
• Be responsible for end-to-end testing of the application (Functional, Integration, Regression etc.)
• AI Builder – Work on AI/ML and Data Science Use cases

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of work experience in Quality Engineering (Testing) in Data platforms
• 3+ years of experience in Web services testing and automation (REST)
• 2+ years of experience in UI automation (Cypress & Karate BDD framework experience)
• Experience implementing quality engineering practices in a CI / CD pipeline
• Experience implementing quality engineering practices in a CI / CD pipeline or workflows, version control, test management, and integrating automation frameworks 
• Good knowledge of databases and experience to writing SQL queries
• Good knowledge with scripting with any of the languages like shell, python
• Understands aspects of agile methodology in terms of product quality and requirements
• Expertise in automation framework design and development
