Position Summary

The RN Clinic Manager provides operational oversight and staff guidance for the clinic(s) in their designated market under the supervision of the Senior Clinic Manager. This role supports daily clinic operations inclusive of staffing management, inventory monitoring, and clinic compliance with state, federal, and accrediting body requirements.

 

Schedule for this position will be Monday-Tuesdays, 8am-4pm, Wednesday-Thursday, 10am-6pm, and Fridays 9am-3pm.  Located inside of the FlexCare Infusion Center at 440 Saint Lukes Dr, Montgomery, AL. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Communicates with physicians and other health care providers on clinical services-related issues
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the health care process (self, systems, environment, and instrumentation) in meeting clinic outcomes
  • Demonstrate awareness of legal issues in all aspects of patient care and clinic operations functioning
  • Assist in overseeing patient scheduling activities in the designated clinic(s)
  • Oversee and optimize clinic-based staffing schedules
  • Proactively identify staffing needs based on growth trends and individual clinic needs
  • Manage Buy & Bill inventory and assist Inventory Specialists with Specialty Pharmacy inventory as needed
  • Assist Inventory Specialists to manage drug inventory storage per manufacturer requirements, including management of storage controls and any out-of-range remediation/remediation coverage
  • Oversee and manage multi-site supply inventory to support clinical and non-clinical operations
  • Maintain routine operational reporting via EMR to evaluate clinic documentation practices.
  • Assist with monitoring and maintaining ongoing ACHC Accreditation requirements
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of policies and procedures that support clinic staff and patient care
  • Manage all administrative and clinical hiring needs in the designated clinic(s)
  • Assist in the selection, orientation, and initial/ongoing training of clinic staff
  • Assists in patient care including peripheral IV initiation, central line access, and medication preparation and administration.
  • Assists in patient monitoring and observation
  • Manage employees through establishing performance goals, allocating resources, and maintaining an appropriate staffing ratio
  • Ensure that clinic staff complete orientation, maintain ongoing competence requirements, and participate in ongoing education as required to provide safe and professional services
  • Ensure that all patient-related documentation and clinical reports are accurately completed, submitted, and/or filed in a timely manner according to internal and external regulatory requirements and in support of the billing process
  • Assist the Senior Clinic Manager and/or Director of Clinical Services in ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies governing healthcare delivery by monitoring onsite clinical operations and initiating changes where required
  • Participate in planning, decision-making, and implementation of office activities that affect clinic operations

 

Supervisory Responsibility

This role supervises:

  • Administrative Assistants in the designated clinic(s)
  • Nursing staff (inclusive of APPs) in the designated clinic(s)

 

Work Environment

This job operates in a clerical, office setting.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with business needs.  Exempt employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Basic Life Support/ CPR certification, required upon hire
  • If RN an additional certification, ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Administration Certification, is required within 90 days of hire
  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare office setting, experience in clinic management, and/or management of administrative staff
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
  • 2+ years of experience in an ambulatory infusion setting
  • Experience in clinic management and/or management of administrative staff

 

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
