Primary Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications
- Perform manual and automated testing to ensure the quality of software products
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues through to resolution
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and quality metrics
- Test Automation:
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks and tools
- Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites
- Ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines include automated testing
- Process Improvement:
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements
- Develop and maintain quality assurance documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in quality engineering
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience:
- Proven experience in quality engineering or quality assurance roles
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit)
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Webdriverio, Appium)
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Skills:
- Proven excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- More emphasis on framework – building a framework from scratch, maintaining it.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Typescript
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git)
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proven excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in quality assurance or software testing (e.g., ISTQB)
- Experience with performance and security testing
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
