Optum Financial is Paying Health Forward – bringing health care and Fintech together, we’re transforming how care is financed and paid for. This role joins the Consumer Payments Marketing team and leads a critical function responsible for consumer messaging and channel strategy, consumer lifecycle map development, campaign management and measurement and iterating / testing plans. 

Channels might include email, direct mail, in-app notifications, paid top-of-funnel channels, and even in-store signage. We have millions of account holders and tens of thousands of business customers that are craving clear, compelling, and educational marketing. Primary Responsibilities:

  • You will map consumer journeys from start to finish; making recommendations for marketing touchpoints throughout a consumer’s lifecycle
  • You will work closely with Adobe Journey Builder collaborative team to develop a top-notch health benefit account engagement program that will increase consumer engagement
  • You will build collaborative partnerships with internal business clients in many functional areas
  • You will work in technology applications such as Workfront and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • You will participate in process improvements related to work, including partner processes
  • You will ensure that all communication materials and campaigns are accurate, timely, consistent, compliant and aligned with the organization’s tone and voice
  • You will monitor and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide regular reports and recommendations for improvement

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a marketing or sales enablement role
  • Experience with consumer journey mapping in Adobe Journey Builder or other platform / tool
  • Proficiency with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Proven solid written and editing skills for a variety of media types
  • Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft and deliver clear, concise and compelling messages for various audiences and channels

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years digital marketing and/or social media experience
  • Experience in the financial services and/or health care industry
  • Experience with software programs such as Workfront, Tableau, DOMO and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • Experience in analytics and reporting marketing results that tracks to ROI
  • Experience collaborating with creative teams on design development

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
