Primary Responsibilities:

• Program Management
  • Provide thought leadership, and end-to-end solution architecture and design of large-scale business Intelligence / data warehouse solution
  • Participate in proposing, designing, and implementing solutions following the best practices of business intelligence / data warehouse solution architecture, standards, methodology and tools used. Develop standards for data governance programs
  • Work with enterprise architects to create application design per business need and implement the architecture. She/he should have in-depth knowledge in user interface design and development along with API services
  • Candidate should have experience in agile development methodologies and should be able to find the right balance between doing it now and doing it right
• Design and Develop
  • Data Marts, De-normalized views and Data Models for projects
  • Data Quality control processes around the data sets used for analysis
• Team Management
  • Mentoring and Grooming Junior Engineers
  • Lead and Drive Knowledge sharing session within the team
  • Own the technical deliveries of the team
• Capability Development
  • Work with Senior team members to develop new capabilities for the team
• Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Enterprise teams within UHG for requirement gathering and use case implementation for the product
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Analysts to work on a solution to address a business problem
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of combined experience in Project Deliveries, Product Management, Project/ Stakeholders management, Team Management and working with cross functional teams
• Big Data or Hadoop – Map Reduce, Hive, HBase, Elastic Search, MapR DB, Spark, Scala, Kafka, Flume, Sqoop, Streaming applications, Java, Linux, Python knowledge or experience
• Knowledge or experience on Elastic Search
• Knowledge or experience on Cloud Technologies – Azure or AWS
• Knowledge or experience with Containerization – Docker, Kubernetes
• Knowledge or experience using Microsoft Excel, Power Point
• Methodology – Data Warehousing, Data Marts knowledge or experience
• Data Warehousing Design – FACT Tables Design, Snowflake Schema knowledge or experience
• Knowledge on Agile or Scrum
