Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities to produce financial statements and reports
  • Perform account reconciliations and analyses, prepare journal entries and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Involvement in the monthly and quarterly ‘close’ process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Prepare documentation to support external and internal audits
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation
  • Analyze and prepare international holding company financial statements
  • Prepare 401k benefit plan financial statements
  • Support various Corporate Accounting activities, as requested, and accounting related projects, as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Accounting
  • 2+ years of accounting experience (you can include internship in total amount of experience)
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Proven ability to comprehend and apply generally accepted accounting principles, with the ability to research and analyze related issues
  • Proven ability to build and maintain solid working relationships across the organization
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA
  • Big 4 public accounting experience
  • Healthcare experience
  • Experience with Hyperion Essbase and PeopleSoft Financials
