We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead with 6+ years of experience in developing highly available and performant Python-based web applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in creating web applications with an Angular UI (React is also acceptable) and deploying them on Azure cloud infrastructure such as AKS or Container Apps. The product leverages Azure Blob Storage, MongoDB, ELK, and SQL Server, and includes RESTful APIs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and deployment of Python-based web applications with Angular or React UI on Azure cloud infrastructure
  • Utilize Azure Blob Storage, MongoDB, ELK, and SQL Server for data storage and management
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git, Git Actions, and Terraform
  • Mentor and assist the team with technology and solutioning
  • Ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members
  • Translate business requirements into technical design and workable solutions within the product
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or Information Technology
  • 6+ years of experience in developing Python-based web applications
  • Solid experience with Azure cloud services, including AKS or Container Apps
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Blob Storage, MongoDB, ELK, and SQL Server
  • Proficiency in Angular (preferred) or React for front-end development
  • Expertise in Git, Git Actions, and Terraform for CI/CD
  • Medium proficiency in UI and DevOps
  • Proficiency in design and coding in Python
  • Good understanding of design and architecture
  • Proven highly analytical with solid problem-solving skills
  • Ability to mentor and guide team members
  • Solid communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in leading a team of developers
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of best practices in software development and deployment
