Positions in this function are involved in monitoring, evaluating, and maintaining systems and procedures to safeguard internal information systems, networks, databases, and Web-based security. Conduct vulnerability assessments and monitor systems, network, databases and Web for potential system breaches. Respond to alerts from information security tools.

Report, investigate, and resolve security incidents. Recommend and implement changes to enhance systems security and prevent unauthorized access. Research security trends, new methods, and techniques used in unauthorized access of data in order to preemptively eliminate the possibility of system breach. May oversee internal or external systems security (i.e., cloud services). Ensure that customers and users have the right access to the right systems at the right times.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with Optum Connect/OITPS Manual Access Provisioning team to deliver requests (and incidents etc.) for joiners movers leavers within SLA and with good quality
  • Contribute in Operations, Enhancements, Transitions (e.g; in case of any new tool/platform), Improvements, and Innovations for Manual Access Provisioning Team
  • Offer help and support to the team in performing their jobs, to meet overall group objectives
  • Contribute to pulling out data to measure metrics and create reports to management, stakeholders etc on the operations, status etc.
  • Readiness to engage in project as well as organizational initiatives, which may not be part of day to day work scope
  • Basic, structured, standard approach to work
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience on Manual Access Provisioning
  • Technical and Functional experience on Active Directory updates & updates on native applications (not integrated with Active Directory)
  • Direct experience in working on Manual Access Provisioning in an external client project
  • Working expertise OR bent of mind towards automation of Manual Access Provisioning processes (via scripting – python, Powershell etc)
  • Understands Manual Access Provisioning concepts for Joiners Movers Leavers
  • Understanding of ServiceNow for managing work
  • Understanding of ServiceNow for viewing or building reports/views/dashboards
  • Knowledge of industry standard Agile scrum practices and way of working
  • Level of knowledge of SailPoint IdentityIQ/IdentityNow
  • Level of knowledge of any industry standard security certifications; ISO 27001 / HITRUST etc.
  • Proven good written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
