Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks
  • Build and optimize data storage solutions using Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Cosmos DB or Vector DB
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Implement data quality checks, data governance, and security best practices across data platforms.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows for performance and scalability.
  • Automate data integration and transformation processes using Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging Azure technologies and data engineering trends.
  • Deep understanding of data management, data governance, cloud and AI technologies, and their application in a business context.
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Azure services and in Databricks (ADLS, ADF, DevOps, etc.)
  • 10+ years of exp in designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines using ADF, integrating with other Azure services.
  • 7+ years of Python development experience. Should have capability of developing own libraries
  • 4+ years of experience in Snowflake or SQL experience (No-SQL experience is a plus
  • Proven experience as a Data Platform Architect, with a focus on Azure data services and AI technologies.
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining data processing systems
  • Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies
  • Solid proficiency in Azure data services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java or Scala for data manipulation and analysis
  • Proven excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Proven excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with Azure stack example Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Cosmos DB 
  • Experience in designing API development and integrating with React JS within cloud platform
  • Understanding on cloud streaming technique GCP, Snowpipe 
  • Leverage modern technologies, such as AI and ML
