Architect – Windows Defender

This position is to support the Windows defender (Antivirus) and Bitlocker Application platform, which is the security platform tool that performs antivirus and Encryption security for the entire organization. The person fulfilling this role will require a high level of network access as well as various security platforms within the company and will be working with a number of teams to properly implement, support and maintain the entire SEP environment. Candidates should have experience in AV software. This role requires Architect level knowledge and experience on multiple Security Platforms (Defender, Intune, Azure , MBAM).

• Responsible for Overall Architecture and design of AV solution.
• Technical lead capable of troubleshooting and diagnosing problems experienced by end users.
• Antivirus installation, configuration, application integration and deployment.
• Day-to-day production and Ops support
• Performing firewall changes, work on incidents
• Regular off-hours work to support system maintenance, incident, and break/fix response including on-call rotation.
• Performs and/or makes recommendations for optimizing system performance, operational reporting, and end-user experience.
• Participation in capacity and volume forecasting activities designed to ensure system resource availability at all times.

– Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
Candidate must be proficient with Windows defender technology and MBAM managed via Intune, Designing , investigating & remediating of AV and managing antivirus in an enterprise environment.

Minimum 8+ years of experience in managing, supporting administering windows Defender platform.
Good knowledge on Operating systems including Windows 10 and 11 as well as Windows Server 2008, 2012,2016
PowerShell and SQL knowledge.
Ability to identify and mitigate risks
Prior experience to troubleshoot in highly complex, technical situations within a matrixed organization
Experience with Networking Principles, Internet Protocol Suite (TCP/IP), Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills
