Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement/Enhance NLP/Speech Recognition proof of concept and prototypes: from initial conception right through to the final deployable stage
- Expected to move as needed between designing scientific approaches, writing or contributing to scientific publications, and development in Python, all in the service of creating the best new NLP or Speech Analytics capability possible
- Always keep abreast of the latest developments in your areas of research and stay ahead
- Scale/optimize AI models for various verticals and clients
- Participate and organize in daily Scrum meetings and delivering the assigned tasks within the timelines specified and meeting the team goal
- Role-share in the team as and collaborate whenever there is a demand
- Work with minimal guidance
- Troubleshoot, isolate and remediate code bugs
- Doing ad-hoc analysis & Communicate results effectively in a clear manner
- Curious mind, self-starter and keenness to learn and develop themselves professionally

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Operations Research or Statistics or Engineering with 3+ years of experience
- 3+ years of experience in SQL
- 3+ years of experience working with large datasets
- Hands-on knowledge of simple NLP concepts like TF-IDF, N-gram modeling, Stemming & Lemmatization, NER, Sentiment mining, word embeddings, regex patterns, etc.
- Knowledge of modern NLP techniques such as transfer learning, LLMs, Copilots, etc.
- Solid understanding of DevOps and deployment tools (e.g. Containerization, Github, Debugging of Build Failures, etc.)
- Exposure to AI/ML code development on Cloud (preferably Azure)
- Excellent coding skills in Python/R
- Proven ability to learn new tools/languages quickly and continue expanding knowledge on latest advances in AI/ML
- Proven solid problem-solving skills, data structures, and algorithms
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience with a visualization tool (Power BI/Tableau)
