As the Senior IT Security Engineer you’ll have a solid understanding of security concepts and experience implementing and quickly identifying threats and vulnerabilities. You will be responsible for identifying and implementing security solutions to improve Episources security posture and respond to identified threats and gaps. You will be responsible for proactively making recommendations for security improvements within our environment and be a security advocate to Episources many business units. You will collaborate with As the Senior IT Security Engineer, you will work closely with the IT Security team to review security configurations of existing technologies, make recommendations to update configurations, and recommend and implement security tools and processes. You will be responsible for maintaining security infrastructure, implementing new security infrastructure, and identifying security gaps.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Daily Tasks:
- Review security advisories and alerts
- Perform daily system checks to ensure security infrastructure is working as intended
- Communicate with teammates regarding current work tasks as needed
- Review security advisories and alerts
- Quarterly Tasks:
- Perform in depth security configuration reviews on security infrastructure
- Perform access reviews on managed systems
- Report on system metrics as required
- Perform in depth security configuration reviews on security infrastructure
- Overall Tasks:
- Lead security infrastructure implementation projects
- Develop standard operating processes and procedures
- Lead initiatives related to security compliance requirements
- Train and educate team members where needed
- Collaborate with leaders across the organization on security solutions
- Lead security infrastructure implementation projects

Required Qualifications:
- Professional Certification Listed: CISSP, CIAC, CISM, AWS Security, AWS SysOps Administrator, PCNSE, ZTCA, or ZDTA
- 8+ years of experience in IT with 6 of them in cybersecurity related roles, preferably in the healthcare or technology industry
- 8+ years of experience in networking, firewalls, zero trust models, identity management, cloud security, and mobile security
- 5+ years of experience with standards and practices: NIST, HITRUST, SOC-2, and ISO 270001
- Experience with Palo Alto, ZScaler, Google Workspace, and AWS
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Proven ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Demonstrated high level of ethics, judgment, integrity, tact, knowledge, initiative, and dependability, discretion, and confidentiality

Canada Residents Only: The salary range for Canada residents is $75,600 to $157,100 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
