Primary Responsibilities:
- User incidents handling i.e. troubleshooting user queries, breakfix, issues, requests within SLA. Use functional knowledge (prior/newly developed) to address the incidents
- Problem handling i.e. work with business/IT to address the issue that requires small/medium code development, unit/system testing, deployment
- Participate in warroom with/without VBF impact and troubleshoot to restore the services ASAP
- Generate and publish various reports (daily, weekly, monthly) about the overall application
- Work with Scrum team to understand the new features being deployed in production and act as gatekeeper to ensure that they follow all the pre-defined guidelines
- Continuously work to identify system’s pain points and drive towards improvement like performance issues, recurring incidents reduction, proactive measures
- Expected to adapt in dynamic and collaborative work environment and make independent decision
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience with DevOps/CI-CD tools like Jenkins, XLRelease, XLDeploy, SonarQube, Fortify
- Solid hands-on experience with batch scheduling, monitoring, restarts using TWS or OPC
- Knowledge of error handling and performance tuning longer running jobs
- Working knowledge of any ETL (Talend, Datastage or Azure Data Factory etc) and/or ESB (Mule, IIB etc)
- Solid knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL Server database
- Functional knowledge of Azure
- Well-versed with ITIL concepts and prior experience with production support model i.e. operation support, oncall, reporting, warroom handling
