Warehouse Technician – Las Vegas, Nevada

The Materials Handler will receive and process incoming shipments, goods and equipment for delivery. Deliver, inventory, organize and restock inventory sites and patient care areas containing medical and non-medical supplies, linen and equipment.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintenance of stock levels of all HME equipment, soft goods, disposables, and internal products
• Maintain cleaning room. Process, disinfect, test a log rental equipment
• Maintain and enter data into the computer system for all inventory items dispensed from the warehouse
• Receive merchandise and supplies ordered, unpack, and prepare for delivery to clients in a timely and accurate manner
• Consult with management regarding product changes when necessary.
• Adheres to OSHA guidelines and infection control procedures regarding blood borne pathogens
• Assists with resolution of operational issues in coordination with management
• Daily pulling of deliveries and UPS shipments to patients

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• 1+ years of experience in shipping/receiving and working with patient care supplies and equipment preferred, either in a central supply, surgery, or patient care area

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid State Driver’s License
• 1+ years of experience in Home Medical Equipment industry
• Demonstrated knowledge of or ability to learn and apply to job functions those state and federal laws and regulations applicable to the operating unit
• Knowledge of Home Medical equipment
• Excellent attention to detail, good computer skills, excellent written, verbal and math skills
• Proven understanding of the use/purpose of the supplies and equipment
• Experience using Word and Excel software to advanced levels that includes mail merge and database management
• Demonstrated familiarity with warehouse equipment, including hand tucks and pallet jacks

 

Nevada Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
