The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating processing for WellMed’s South Region non-trade consolidated invoices. Responsibilities include staff training, development and workload management to ensure invoice processing is in accordance with service level agreements and applicable policies and procedures.
If you are located in San Antonio, TX, you will have the flexibility to work remotely*, as well as work in the office as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversees processing of non-trade uploads (e.g. contracted provider payments, utilities and consolidated vendor invoices)
- Workload management (level loading & ensuring team stays within service level agreements)
- Staff development and training providing continuous feedback and coaching
- Maintain job aides and other team tools
- Resolves processing escalations promptly
- Prepare monthly A/P metrics
- Identifies opportunities for process improvements

Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years accounting/accounts payable experience
- 2+ years supervisory experience
- Experience with Accounting ERP Systems
- Proven effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven to be highly organized with ability to multi-task
- Proven ability to work independently and report statues effectively
- Proven advance proficiency in MS Office (Excel (Pivots/VLookups), Word, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Teams)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare experience
- Exposure to high volume accounts payable
- Proven ability to supervise and motivate remote employees
