Location: 701 White Pond Dr Suite 300 Akron, OH 44320 and will also travel 1 day per week to 231 Seasons Rd. Hudson, OH 44224
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 4: 30 p.m., Fridays: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversees and participates in the day-to-day clinical care of patients
- Assesses, develops, implements and evaluates patient care utilizing evidence and nursing theory in practice through the organization’s care delivery model. Coordinates patient quality of care on behalf of provider.
- Communicates clearly with patients, families, nursing staff and interdisciplinary team to achieve healthcare goals. Acts as a patient advocate in regard to patient quality of care. Teaches patient/family at their level of understanding and documents response.
- Provides and documents procedures, medications, treatments and intravenous therapy. Reviews patients’ screening tests and proactively provide the providers results.
- Interprets clinical data/patient responses and collaborates with physicians and other members of the healthcare team. Provides prompt accurate shift/handoff reports and shares pertinent patient care information throughout shift, as applicable.

Required Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted RN license in the State of Ohio
- ACLS
- 6+ months of infusion experience
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task between doing infusions and administrative work of prior authorizations and financial assistance
- Proven competent with peripheral IV’s and Central Line access
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of doing prior authorizations for infusion medications
- Experience with mixing medications
