Software Engineering Lead – Automation Testing

Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop Automation Tests using automation scripting tools (e.g. Selenium)
- Execute Automated tests and design automated testing schedules which run at fixed intervals based on the business needs
- Collaborate with business and developers on working to form a comprehensive testing plan
- Identify test cases and areas where we can gain the most benefit from automating
- Develop performance and load tests to ensure that the application is redundant enough to handle peak traffic volumes
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and integrating Automation test runs into deployment processes
- Knowledge of writing automation testing for Java based projects (Integration and Unit Testing)
- Knowledge of test case design best practices including BDD and TDD
- Basic understanding of GitHub or other version control software
- Advanced Selenium skills and understanding of automation testing best practices
- Proven excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pharmacy Domain knowledge and experience
- Eggplant Automation Testing knowledge
- Understanding of MySQL/Oracle DB and being able to write basic queries to verify automation testing results
