If you are located in Minnesota, you will have the flexibility to work from home and in the office in this hybrid role* as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and Implement AI/ML Solutions: Develop and deploy machine learning models and AI solutions using Azure services. This includes designing algorithms, building models, and ensuring they meet business requirements
- Data Management: Handle data preprocessing, cleaning, and transformation to prepare it for model training. This involves working with large datasets and ensuring data quality
- Model Training and Evaluation: Train machine learning models, perform hyperparameter tuning, and evaluate model performance using various metrics. Ensure models are optimized for accuracy and efficiency
- Integration and Deployment: Integrate AI/ML models into existing systems and deploy them using Azure Machine Learning services. Implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment
- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into technical solutions. Collaborate on projects to ensure successful implementation
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor the performance of deployed models and systems, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary updates to improve performance and reliability
- Documentation and Reporting: Document the development process, model specifications, and performance metrics. Provide regular reports to stakeholders on project progress and outcomes
- Stay Updated with Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML and Azure technologies. Continuously learn and apply new techniques and tools to improve solutions
- Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices in AI/ML development and Azure services

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field or at least 3+ years of equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in developing AI and ML algorithms or technologies
- 3+ years of experience in programming languages (proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or Go)
- 3+ years of experience in Azure Service (experience with Azure AI services, Azure Machine Learning, and other related Azure tools)
- 2+ years of experience working with cloud computing technologies, particularly Azure
- Experience in AI/ML techniques; understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks, and AI model deployment
- Legally authorized to work in the US without any restrictions. Proof will be required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in AI, Machine Learning, or a specialized area within these fields
- Microsoft certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate
- Other relevant certifications including additional certifications in AI, ML, or cloud computing can be beneficial
- Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex AI/ML challenges
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders
- Communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
