Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of Java developers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their professional growth and development 
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and define technical solutions 
• Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions using Java and related technologies 
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and development methodologies 
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure code quality and performance 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery and timely resolution of technical issues 
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and frameworks, and provide recommendations for process improvements and technical advancements 
• Participate in the recruitment and onboarding process of new team members 
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing within the team 
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 
• 12+ years of experience in Java development, with a solid proficiency in Java EE and Spring Boot 
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team of developers, including task allocation, performance management, and mentoring 
• In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience in working in Agile development environments 
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software engineering principles 
• Proven excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts 
• Proven solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders 
• Proven to be proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications, such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Spring Certification
• Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture
