Primary Responsibilities:
- Requirements gathering: Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their business needs and goals. Gathering, documenting, and analyzing requirements for new or existing systems or processes
- Process modeling: Mapping out the current business processes and identifying areas for improvement. Developing new process models that align with the organization’s goals and objectives
- Systems analysis: Evaluating the current systems and identifying gaps or inefficiencies. Proposing and designing new systems or enhancements to existing systems to streamline operations and improve productivity
- Data analysis: Analyzing large volumes of data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions. Ensuring data integrity and accuracy
- Solution design: Collaborating with developers and technical teams to design and implement IT solutions that meet the business requirements
- Creating functional specifications and system design documents
- Testing and quality assurance: Developing test plans, test cases, and conducting system testing to ensure the quality and functionality of the IT solutions. Identifying and resolving any defects or issues
- User training and support: Providing training and support to end-users on new systems or processes. Assisting with user acceptance testing and addressing any user concerns or questions
- Project management: Managing projects related to system implementations or enhancements. Creating project plans, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of solutions
- Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation of business processes, system requirements, and user guides. Keeping documentation up to date with any changes or enhancements
- Continuous improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement and recommending innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Business Systems Analyst should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, solid technical and analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities
- They need to understand business processes, translate requirements into technical solutions, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders
