Associate Software Engineer – Remote in Canada

The Associate Software Engineer is responsible for the requirement analysis, design, implementation, developer testing, maintenance and support of Radiology products. 

You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within Canada as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementation of enhancements or fixes to modules of a subsystem (client or server) or development of software tools and utilities requiring proficiency in programming, testing and debugging using current programming languages and technologies
• Performs own logic/algorithm design and coding within scope of assignments with some assistance of others
• Develops, documents, debugs and maintains software in accordance with requirements and design
• Participates in design and code reviews with other project team members
• May interface with user representatives or other engineering groups to define requirements and/or necessary modifications

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
• 1+ years of experience working with C++
• 1+ years of software development experience
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, within shifts that range between 8:00 am-5:00pm Pacific Time

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Basic knowledge of software engineering methodology, including design, implementation, test and release
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, suitable for interacting constructively with peers and stakeholders within the company
• Good Organizational and interpersonal skill

Canada Residents Only: The salary range for Canada residents is $49,300 to $102,500 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
