As a Financial & Regulatory Reporting Manager you will working within the local team and with the UHG wider team to ensure compliance with all Financial & Regulatory Reporting requirements. Primary Responsibilities of the Financial & Regulatory Reporting Manager:

•    Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with Irish & US GAAP and Solvency II regulatory requirements within strict deadlines.
•    Internal and external Audit planning, delivery, supervision and reporting.
•    Build knowledge of the data flow and architecture within various platforms and delivery of services and understanding the potential for process improvement within a rapidly expanding business.
•    Internal and External support department coordination (Treasury, Tax, Actuarial, Shared Services, IT, etc.).
•    Work with various stakeholders and business functions on finance data related projects.
•    Documentation of process and procedures and identifying best practices.

Required Qualifications of the Financial & Regulatory Reporting Manager:

•    Professional accounting certification (ACCA, ACA etc.)
•    Exposure to Irish GAAP Financial Accounting and European Solvency II reporting.
•    Strong financial accounting background and technical skills in financial reporting and analysis.
•    Ideally experience with Corporate Financial Accounting Systems, Interactive Data Software and advanced MS excel skills, including data analysis (e.g. PeopleSoft, Power BI, MS Excel).
•    Ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritise and to work both independently and as a team player.
•    Relevant PQE in EU Insurance industry is a distinct advantage.
