In this newly created role, you will drive transformation of the operations for our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) book of business. You will be expected to use technology to automate & create efficiencies across front, middle and back-office RCM teams. This is an external client-facing role (across multiple clients) with P&L accountability.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership for RCM transformation efforts including Automation, Technology & Scale
- Evaluate technology landscape and create business value using technology (either built, bought or partnered)
- Help drive RCM product roadmap & strategy relative to automation opportunities
- Develop & implement strategic plans to achieve goals and objectives through cross functional teams (including external clients & internal partners)
- Ensure KPIs & SLAs are achieved/exceeded and NPS is high
- Build & maintain deep relationships/partnerships with clients to ensure continuous improvement and growth
- Drive change management to enable successful integration of front, middle & back office RCM teams
- Provide leadership & guidance to a global 2500+ person RCM team
- Develop scalable and high performing workforces, utilizing modern technology
- Hire, onboard, train & mentor others and foster a positive culture
- Monitor and manage financial performance, including budgets & revenue
- Implement strategies to enhance the quality of healthcare services, including performance measurement, benchmarking and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:
- 15 + years of leadership experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services
- Demonstrated understanding of Provider revenue cycle operations, including both Acute & Ambulatory domains
- Direct experience using technology to automate RCM operations
- Experience with high-volume, complex RCM operations
- Strategic thinker with executive leadership and influencing skills
- History of success leading complex strategic business initiatives
- Prior experience interfacing with the c-Suite
- Experience leading a team of 2000+ people across distributed geographic regions
- Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change and lead process improvement & automation initiatives
- P&L management knowledge
- Willingness & ability to travel up to 50% of the time (on a sustained basis)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AI solutions
- Experience serving external clients
- Experience working for a professional services consulting firm

The salary range for this role is $250,000 to $350,000 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
