Primary Responsibilities: 

• Azure Infrastructure plan and setup through Terraform as IaC
• Maintain and monitor existing Azure infrastructure to ensure reliability, and scalability
• Work closely with development teams to implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
• Ensure the security of Azure applications and infrastructure, adhering to best practices and compliance standards
• Stay updated with the latest developments in Microsoft Azure to implement necessary improvements
• Assist in developing strategies for managing Azure usage costs effectively
• Setup and maintain resources including Azure Databricks/Data Factories/Key Vault/Storage account/Hosting Airflow in AKS

Required Qualifications: 

• 3+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer
• Experience with version control systems like Git to manage Terraform configurations and collaborate with team members
• Experience in setting up Azure resources like Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, etc.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud computing platforms
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Python to automate infrastructure tasks
• Proficiency in HashiCorp Configuration Language (HCL) to write efficient and maintainable Terraform code.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate Terraform with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (preferably)
  or Jenkins

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications like Terraform Associate Certification, Azure Developer Associate Certification
• Experience with containerization technologies and Azure Kubernetes 
• Experience with Azure Airflow Setup

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
