In this role, you will provide learning support to internal customers through the design and development of learning solutions. You will consult and collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) as well as peers across the Optum Learn (OL) team. You will work across the full spectrum of learning support new development, management of existing content, as well as scheduled and ad-hoc communications – to increase the performance of our customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) and customer leadership to identify learning needs
  • Design and develop instructor-led and self-paced learning solutions
  • Utilize various platforms/tools (ex: Articulate 360) to develop skills-based learning content
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of learning projects
  • Collaborate with peers across the training organization to evaluate and improve learning solutions
  • Mentor peers across the training organization
  • Accurately track task progress within project workplans in a timely manner
  • Communicate effectively with customers, peers and Optum Learn leadership

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience designing/developing learning content
  • 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office suite of applications/tools
  • 2+ years of experience using Articulate360 suite of applications/tools
  • 2+ years of experience performing project management tasks
  • 2+ years of experience developing content for a Behavioral Health clinical audience
  • Demonstrated ability managing learning content within a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Demonstrated ability using high quality visual design principles to create learning content
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, think critically, solve problems and manage/prioritize time

   

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active clinical licensure or experience in Behavioral Health 
  • 2+ years of experience working within the Healthcare industry 
  • Demonstrated ability utilizing Microsoft Teams and SharePoint to develop learning solutions

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
