United Healthcare Community & State is looking to hire two Senior Clinical Program Managers, to primarily manage the Wellhop for Mom & Baby Program, an internal virtual Centering program for pregnant and postpartum members.
These individuals will support additional maternal health activities relating to the broader maternal health strategy and program portfolio, as directed by their supervisor. Each position will report to the Director, Medicaid Clinical Program Development and Operations in the East Region. Each position is remote and can be based anywhere in the US.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Hosts regularly scheduled virtual support group meetings on a variety of topics
- Own the end-to-end development and day-to-day operations of the Wellhop Program
- Presents Wellhop program to new and existing markets, and provides participating markets with
- Supports Marketing needs and approvals for markets related to Wellhop
- Review performance of Wellhop programs in various markets based on quality outcomes, member experience and ROI and identify opportunities to improve and evolve the program for markets and members.
- Monitors and triages inbound member calls for Healthy First Steps, the C&S maternity care management program
- Supports National Clinical Strategy Team on additional Maternity projects
- Facilitates connections with in-person Centering programs in C&S markets

Required Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted RN license
- 3+ years in Maternal Child Health Nursing
- 3+ years of experience implementing clinical/quality programs in a Medicaid health plan environment or equivalent experience
- Must be flexible and adaptable to new or different priorities as needed, including tasks and responsibilities not explicitly outlined in this job description
- Proven problem solving, planning and decision-making skills
- Experience overseeing day-to-day operations of clinical programs, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance
- Solid demonstrated ability to lead business initiatives to a successful outcome
- Solid communicator: capable of effectively presenting ideas and clearly conveying practical information to members with varying levels of health literacy
- Flexibility to work across multiple time zones to support member group meetings nationally
Preferred Qualifications:
- Able to read, write, and converse fluently in Spanish, including the use of medical terminology related to maternity care
- Experience in group facilitation
- Ability to effectively deal with ambiguity – can effectively cope with change, can shift gears comfortably, can decide and act without having the total picture, comfortably handles risk and uncertainty in a manner consistent with UnitedHealth Group’s core values
- Proven ability to quickly gain credibility, influence and partner with HP and business partners across the matrix

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with al minimum wage laws as applicable.
