The Business Operations Specialist executes tasks to ensure effective print production, support project management and vendor management of communication delivery programs. Accuracy, expert knowledge of the products and workflow are also keys to providing our business partners with flawless execution of the services we offer. This role requires a willingness to be a team player and the flexibility to take on new challenges, duties and tasks with short notice.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality, customer-responsive turnaround of print jobs in a cost-effective production environment
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to assure production work requirements are clearly defined and that timeframes and cost factors are given appropriate consideration
- Coordinate schedule to meet customers’ expectations and deadlines. Communicate the status of jobs, any unique circumstances relating to jobs, etc. to other staff as needed
- Serve as day-to-day contact for print vendors to ensure projects are on time, meet quality standards, and are billed accurately
- Ensure all jobs are delivered on-time, expedite operations that delay or alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. Remain in contact with customers when critical issues arise or work production schedule is jeopardized
- Monitor jobs for errors and/or “common sense” mistakes to eliminate rework
- Create and maintain multiple Excel spreadsheets including test data, client and project tracking
- Create or edit procedure and job aid documentation for all tasks or processes assigned
- Participate in training activities, or other special assignments as requested
- Comply with all policy, procedure, regulation and other communicated requirements as may be in effect for the workgroup or worksite
- Maintain and foster collaborative working relationships with team members, internal clients, and external vendors
- Support the overall business goals by performing additional duties as assigned or requested

Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED
- 1+ years of account management experience and/or project management experience
- 1+ years of experience leading multiple concurrent projects while effectively prioritizing multiple tasks, priorities, projects, and deadline to resolve customer issues and meet delivery timeline
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel occasionally on business (Attend functions, less than 10% travel nationally)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of print production/print process experience
- Experience coordinating or managing deliverables of third-party vendors
- Solid interest and/or knowledge of new technologies and process improvement workflows
- Proven effective negotiation, communication, project, and time management skills
- Demonstrated high level of attention to detail
- Proven self-starter with excellent communication, organizational, process planning, decision making and implementation skills

The hourly range for this role is $19.86 to $38.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
