As the Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for the development and execution of the vision for enabling solutions on United AI Studio (enterprise ML platform). As an engineer, you will ensure technical tasks and properly detailed, designed and executed per existing standards. You will also need to work with other engineering teams and leaders – solving their use cases, discussing issues and resolving them. The engineering work is primarily done using cloud-based services like Azure, AWS, and GCP, and it is therefore essential that for our engineers to be successful, they should have had experience working on cloud-based services. Responsibilities * Work with the United AI Studio engineering teams to help solve business problem. * Implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative software solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security. * Use software engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all of the team’s deliverables. * Write high quality distributed system software. * Execute tasks, stories and deliver them in sprints planned * Perform code review. * Should be flexible, adapting to meet the needs of the team, project, or product. * Solicit differing views and are willing to change your mind as you learn more.
– Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
Basic Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field * 3+ years industry experience as a Software Engineer or a Software Developer * Good understanding on the design (basic design patterns, reliability, and scaling). * Proficiency in cloud platforms and services (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.) * Should have good hands on on technology stack like Java (Spring Boot), REST APIs, Python, * Strong computer science and development fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis. * Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build process, testing, and operations. * Experience using terraform or other CI/CD IaC is good to have. * Experience working in a complex, service-oriented service development. * Any knowledge or working experience on AI/ML projects would be added advantage.
